The National Research & Training Center (NRTC) on Blindness and Low Vision at Mississippi State University

The National Research & Training Center (NRTC) on Blindness and Low Vision at Mississippi State University received funding from the Department of Education to conduct "Independent Living Services for Older Individuals who are Blind: Training and Technical Assistance." The project runs from October 2015 through September 2020 and has a total budget of $2,997,330. The NRTC will work with the American Foundation for the Blind, VisionServe Alliance, and the Helen Keller National Center to provide training and technical assistance to state agencies to improve the administration, operation, and performance of state programs serving older individuals who are blind. Dr. Adele Crudden is part of the research team and will work on this project.
