MSU Social Sciences Ranked 12th in the Nation
Social Sciences at MSU is ranked 12th in the nation in the NSF social science rankings. That's up from 17th last year! In the sociology, demography, and population studies category, MSU is 16th nationally.

McKayla Joaquim, Graduate Student, Served as Panelist for Student Affairs
Sociology M.S. student, McKayla Joaquim, served as a panelist for a Student Affairs event held this week centered around issues of social justice and inclusion in higher education. McKayla’s thesis research examines the educational experiences of college students who grew up in foster care.
