David is currently a doctoral student in Sociology at Mississippi State University. His research interests are in the areas of criminological theories, political and financial crimes, and policing. Originally from Nigeria, the most populous black nation on earth, David holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology and a Masters's degree in Criminology from the University of Benin and the University of Lagos, respectively. Before moving to the United States in 2021 to pursue his doctoral degree, David had spent over half a decade working in the banking industry where he rose to the rank of a Senior Credit Risk Analyst and Compliance Officer. David enjoys swimming, traveling, and meeting new people.
