Mississippi State University Libraries held its 1st Annual Undergrad Poetry Contest this spring as part of its National Poetry Month celebration.  Submissions for the contest were accepted until April 1, 2020.  Poems were submitted by students from many different University departments.  DeJuanay Hunter Jr., Sociology major, won second prize for his poem and received the Slate Collection Large MERCER Lined Refillable Journal.  I wanted to share the announcement picture for you to share with your department or on social media.
