John "Peyton" Wolf Wins Competition at A National Conference

John “Peyton” Wolf, a senior majoring in social work, won the student poster competition at the 41st Annual BPD Conference in New Orleans, LA.  Held on March 8, 2024, the poster competition showcased the best and brightest social work students who have a passion for research. His proposal poster entitled, Barriers to Care for Homeless Veterans in the State of Mississippi, highlights the undoubtedly necessary and multifaceted complexities for serving veterans.  The proposal lays the foundation for program and service opportunities to meet the needs of this deserving population.

“Presenting at BPD was a great way to spark interest and to promote awareness on the issue along side other aspiring social scientists from across the country”, said Wolf.
