On Thursday, April 16, the Mississippi State University Department of Sociology, alongside the Criminology and Social Work programs, hosted its Annual Awards Banquet to recognize and celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of undergraduate and graduate students across the department.

The annual banquet serves as an opportunity to honor students who have excelled in academics, teaching, leadership, service, and professional development throughout the year. Faculty, staff, students, family members, and guests gathered for an evening of celebration, reflection, and recognition of the dedication these students have shown to their disciplines and the university community.

This year’s honorees represent the very best of our programs and exemplify the commitment to excellence that defines the Department of Sociology.
